Major General Suhail Khoury (the former president of the federation and a member of the Asian Olympic Council) and Fernsoa Kanaan (President of the Federation), in addition to George Abboud, Muhannad Dabousi and George Francis, resigned from the Administrative Committee of the Lebanese Equestrian Federation on Monday 29 September 2025.
The resignations were recorded by the Secretary of the Federation and deposited copies at the Federation’s headquarters in Hazmiyya, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports was informed of the decision. The resignation of five members out of nine.
