For citizens … new news related to the benefit and the registration of cars

A memorandum of understanding between the Traffic, Vehicles and Vehicles Authority represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Traffic, Vehicles and Vehicles Authority was signed by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, a memorandum of understanding between the Traffic, Vehicles and Vehicles Authority represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Traffic, Vehicles and Vehicles Authority by commissioning Judge Marwan Abboud and the Liban Post, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Andrei Al -Rami, under the auspices of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmed Al -Hajjar and his attendance, with the aim of facilitating the completion of transactions, which reduces pressure from the authority’s centers and saves time and effort on citizens.

The signing was attended by the head of the Cars and Vehicles Registration Authority by assignment, Brigadier Nazih Kabrisli, Deputy Director General of the Libyan Post, Shadi Maghames, head of the Bureau of the Traffic Management, Mechanisms and Vehicles Authority by commissioning Christina Nima and a number of stakeholders from both sides.
This memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities’ plan to update the administration, facilitate the affairs of citizens, and reduce the cost of completing services from them.
The Traffic, Vehicles and Vehicles Management Authority – the Cars Registration Authority announced the start of receiving citizens ’requests through the Libyan Post offices from tomorrow, Thursday, September 18, 2025, to complete the following services:
Transferring ownership of private tourism cars and motorcycles previously registered in both Dukana and Jounieh.
Renewal of private and public market licenses.
This will be announced gradually the subsequent services that can be accomplished through the Libyan Post offices.
The commission reminded the citizens that they can complete their transactions, in addition to the service of the Liban Post Company, either by attending the authority’s centers or through the entrepreneur from them legally to complete the transactions by reserving a prior appointment through the electronic platform of the authority TMO.Gov.lb.
