On the financial sector in Lebanon … this is what the International Monetary Fund announced

The director of the International Monetary Fund, Julie Cosak, revealed that a team of the fund will visit Lebanon this month to give a boost to discussions regarding a program supported by the fund.

She confirmed that Lebanon will need “great support from the external partners of the reform efforts, and it is preferable that this be with very easy conditions.” She pointed out that solving banking problems is an important part of the final reform program.
