It is a new birth. ” After a long series of torture and persecution, Bishop Maloyan was executed in June 1915, becoming a symbol of Christian testimony and stakeholders on spiritual values.
In a special meeting, the Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church, Rafiel Badros, the eleventh Minassian, considered that Ignatius Malayan, Bishop Mardin, received his great honor from the authorities of the Ottoman Sultanate for his national services and his loyalty to his Armenian and his religious commitment, and the other honor of his martyrdom on the path of holiness, and here is today he becomes an eternal testimony carrying the will of his Christian faith.
