A security alert in France in preparation for broad protests … and fears of paralysis

It is expected that tens of thousands of people will go out to the streets of French cities and towns today, Wednesday, in protest against the planned cuts in the budget. The authorities said that they are preparing to face attempts to cut off roads and vandalism within the framework of calls at the country level to demonstrate, although the exact size of the protests is still not certain.

The slogan of the “Listed everything” movement spread after the previous government submitted a austerity budget, before it was dropped on Monday after Prime Minister Francois Bayro lost a vote on confidence and submitted his resignation. Interior Minister Bruno Ritayo announced that 80,000 policemen will be published, and that he would take “decisive measures” against road closure operations. The security forces began to deploy since Tuesday evening. The French Railways Company announced unrest in regional transport services, while the French Civil Aviation Authority warned of the possibility of operations in French airports. According to the French media, companies and universities will also witness protests.
