Contractors and consulting companies: This news is not related to the truth

A number of contractors and owners of consulting companies denied and denied what is being traded about paying their dues or paying an estimated amount of $ 83 million, stressing that this news is shameful and not related to the truth.

They said in a statement: Ten years ago, we have been calling for our rights from the Lebanese state. After these claims, a settlement came until the hour, and it was not implemented and to install our dues in installments over a period of ten years at a rate of 10% of the rights of each contractor or consulting company annually. But despite this unfair agreement that was not satisfied by the contractors, especially foreigners, until this hour was not implemented because the agreement has not yet been agreed on the exchange rate that will be adopted to pay these dues.
They added: “We have implemented projects that generate money on the Lebanese state, which are infrastructure projects, and they have been handed over a long time ago to the Lebanese Republic, but the rights did not reach until the hour, and this is surprising and harms Lebanon’s reputation.”
They strongly rejected the status of the dues of contractors and consultants sometimes against public sector employees and a developer against military wires is an unjust comparison for all and illogical, and they said, “We are all rights holders.”
