The dean of the Maronite General Council commented former Minister Wadih Al -Khazen, according to what was stated in the sermon of the Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al -Raei, and said: “I would like to pay tribute to the bold word he made, which put the finger on the essence of the crisis in Lebanon, reminding everyone that national unity and understanding are the only option to save the country.”

He added: “But the risks that threaten Lebanon today are no longer just possibilities. Rather, they have become a bloody dangers that threaten its entity and future. The internal division, economic collapse, political tensions, and external interventions are all factors that integrate to push the homeland towards the unknown. It will only lead to the big explosion that no one survives. Finally: Either we unite to save Lebanon, or we all bear the responsibility for its fall to history and future generations.
