Patriarch Minassian during an honorary dinner for the Lebanese press: to preserve the unit among all Lebanese

He said: “We do not deny that there are splits or parties that separated us and dispersed our thoughts or removed us through unity and sincere patriotism, so we become at times we live next to each other and not with each other, yet the sincere patriotism remains predominant on all kinds of interests in the lands of this dear homeland.
He continued: “Knowing that politics is based on interests, and when we establish, we lose the public interest. Therefore, you are the owners of the word and your word penetrates all barriers to reach the hearts of people and from them give fruits to adhere to the homeland, or to live the experience of departure and immigration and there the country loses its citizens.”
He added: “May you be bridges of peace and unity for hope and giving between the people of the same homeland, regardless of their sectarian, religious or political affiliation because we are all sons of a country with a message under the banner of immortal rice. It would prefer this hope that your message in the heart of the homeland is a caller for hope and giving, and not for the despair and despair.
