An environmental catastrophe in Shahra .. The fire devoured the rare pine and oak trees

This afternoon, a major fire broke out in the town of Shahra – the Joura Ibrahim Nader, rich in rare pine and oak trees. Civil defense teams have faced great difficulties in reaching the site of the fire due to the region’s roughness, forcing them to extend the waterproof of the water from long distances.

The people of Shadra, villages and neighboring towns were quick to support the civil defense elements in the firefighting operations, in an attempt to control the fire that came on large areas of forests, causing an environmental disaster. Despite the intervention of the Lebanese army, it has not yet succeeded in the fire of the fire that still escalates smoke extensively.
