These publications may prevent the residence right

The administration of US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that it will take into account any “anti -America” directions, including publications on social networks, when making decisions on the right to reside and work in the United States.
The American Immigration and Nationality Services Department said that the advantages associated with immigration are not absolute rights, but rather privileges, and should not be granted to those who hate the country or promote anti -America ideas. The new policy includes the expansion of auditing on social media publications for immigration applications, including the issue of whether they are promoting anti -Semitic ideas. These procedures came after previous directives that rejected or canceled short -term visas of people whose administration considered that they do not agree with American foreign policy interests, especially with regard to Israel. The administration confirmed that it had canceled 6 thousand students visas since January 2025, amid controversy over accusations of anti -Semitism against activists and students who participated in demonstrations against the Israeli war on Gaza, which denied its authenticity.
