President Aoun stressed the “importance of the existing cooperation between the army and UNIFIL, in particular, noting the relations between the international force and the people of the southern towns and villages who receive all the attention, health, social and educational care of the forces participating in” UNIFIL “.
General Aburara, who was accompanied by his political advisor, HERVE LECOQ circulated with President Aoun in the current situation in the south and the work of the international force and the ongoing deliberations at the United Nations in preparation for the extension of the “UNIFIL” scheduled next week.
