Two members of the Syrian security were killed by gunmen at a checkpoint in Tartus, northwest of the country. The Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted a security source as saying that after one of the internal security patrols suspected a suspicious car parked next to the road, the patrol elements were close to searched, and one of the people inside it fired directly towards the security personnel, killing two elements.
