During the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, Samsung unveiled a wide range of new products, including three foldable phones and two smart watches, in addition to new features powered by artificial intelligence, and an updated review of its smart glasses that it is developing in cooperation with Google.

Three foldable phones
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
It is the most powerful phone in the new series, and its price starts at $2,100.
Its most prominent specifications are:

– 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate.
– 200-megapixel main camera.

Galaxy Z Fold 8
Its price starts at $1,900, and it comes with a different design than previous generations, as Samsung adopted a wider design with a horizontal fold that gives the internal screen a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The three phones relied on the new Flex Titanium technology, which uses titanium components within the foldable screen structure.

New artificial intelligence features
The new phones have a set of Gemini features from Google, most notably:

Galaxy Watch 9
The watch starts at $380 for the bluetooth version.

– Screen brightness of up to 3000 nits.
Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
Starting at $700, it comes with notable improvements including:

– Titanium body is 12% thinner.
– High resistance to shocks and water.
Artificial intelligence health assistant
Samsung has supported the two watches with new Health Assistant features, which provide:
– Intelligent heart rate analysis.
– Monitoring oxygen levels during sleep.
– Detect changes in vital signs.
– A new indicator of physical fitness.
– An assessment of heart health.
– Noise level alerts.
– Feature to detect sleep apnea.
The Watch Ultra 2 adds tools dedicated to runners, such as tracking altitude and speed, in addition to estimating fluid loss and hydration suggestions, as well as features dedicated to diving.
New smart glasses
Samsung also showcased an updated version of its smart glasses, which it is developing in cooperation with Google, Warby Parker, and Gentle Monster.
The company explained that the glasses provide:
– 9 hours of playback on a single charge.
– Up to 7 additional charges via the charging case.
– Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor.
Samsung has not yet revealed the launch date or prices, but it has confirmed that the launch will take place later in the year.
