The model is scheduled to be integrated into image creation tools within the “Meta AI,” “Instagram,” and “WhatsApp” applications, and will later arrive on “Facebook” and “Messenger.”
“Muse Image” comes within the new “Muse” family of models, which Meta intends to rely on instead of the “Llama” series, as part of developing a new generation of artificial intelligence technologies.
The head of the “Superintelligence Labs” unit, Alexander Wang, explained that the model has “agentic” capabilities, as it works in integration with the “Muse Spark” model to understand user requests, search online, and plan before creating the image, which enhances the accuracy and quality of the results.
He added that the company is also preparing to launch the “Muse Video” model for generating video clips, noting that it achieves strong performance in adhering to text commands, image quality, and maintaining consistency between frames.
One of the most prominent features of “Muse Image” is the ability to refer to other accounts on “Instagram” using the “@” symbol, which allows the model to benefit from the public images of those accounts to create a visual representation of their owners within the generated results.
Meta confirmed that users will retain control over how their public photos are used in artificial intelligence tools via privacy settings.
The model also allows you to convert images based on ready-made suggestions, create designs such as invitation cards and postcards, as well as redesign rooms based on images from “Facebook Marketplace” or other sites.
“Muse Image” also supports editing images directly by drawing over them to add or remove elements, then sharing the results via posts, stories, or conversations within Meta applications.
The company also announced that “Muse Image” will support 30 new artificial intelligence effects in Instagram Stories within the United States first, with the feature later expanding to more countries and other Meta applications. (aitnews)
