As some roads began to open to residents in a number of southern towns, municipal calls were issued to organize returns and document the damage, in light of the continued need to adhere to the instructions of the Lebanese Army and the competent authorities in order to preserve public safety.
The Mansouri Municipality announced, in a statement, that after the reopening of the road by the Lebanese Army, citizens can return to the town and reach the Al-Mashaa neighborhood – the Salah Junction only, in accordance with the current field conditions and the instructions approved by the army.
The municipality called on the people to adhere to the instructions of the competent authorities and to adhere to the directives issued by the Lebanese army and security forces, in order to preserve public safety.
The Mansouri Municipality also thanked all parties that contributed to facilitating the return of the people, asking God to maintain security and stability for the town and its people.
In a related context, the Municipality of Tura asked the owners of buildings completely destroyed as a result of the recent aggression to come to the municipal building no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2026, bringing the required supporting documents.
The documents include a copy of the identity card, registration certificate, or passport of the person concerned, the property title deed, if any, in addition to any documents or identification papers related to the house or commercial store.
The Municipality of Tura stressed the need to adhere to the specified deadline, noting that the file will be submitted to the competent authorities on the morning of Thursday, June 25, explaining that the request includes only completely destroyed buildings.
These measures come within the framework of organizing the gradual return of residents to some areas, and following up on the damage file in the affected towns, allowing municipalities to prepare the required files and submit them to the competent authorities, in parallel with the continuation of field procedures related to public safety.
