Young driver Kimi Antonelli achieved a major victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, after a strong performance and taking the lead ahead of Lewis Hamilton in a race characterized by chaos in its final stages.

With this victory, Antonelli extended his streak of victories to five consecutive races, strengthening his lead in the World Drivers’ Championship by 66 points after six rounds of a 22-race season, also benefiting from the stumble of his Mercedes colleague George Russell, who finished the race outside the points after a traffic penalty.

The race witnessed dramatic events that included accidents and the appearance of the safety car twice, before restarting in the final decisive laps, during which Antonelli maintained his calm to snatch victory with a clear margin over his closest competitor.

Lewis Hamilton came in second place after a strong performance with Ferrari, while Issac Hadjar finished third to achieve his first podium finish, while Oscar Piastri finished the race in fourth place.

As for George Russell, he was subjected to a penalty for driving in the pit lane, which ended his hopes for points, after a complicated race that included organizational errors and successive penalties.

According to the final standings, Antonelli led the race, followed by Hamilton, then Hadjar, Piastri, Lawson, Lindblad, Gasly, Albon, Ocoan, and Alonso in the top ten.
