The voice assistant “Siri” comes with a new look based on the “Gemini” model from Google, which gives it a greater ability to understand complex commands and natural conversations to compete with modern robots. The system will also provide smart tools for editing images and texts, and advanced features in the “Safari”, mail and calendar applications, with the ability to integrate external models such as “Claude”.
In terms of hardware, the update will officially end support for Mac devices equipped with Intel processors, limiting its operation exclusively to devices running Apple Silicon processors of the “M1” category and later.
The final version is expected to be released to users next September in conjunction with the new iPhones.
