Israeli army spokeswoman Ella Wawiyeh announced that over the weekend, the Israeli army carried out raids targeting about 100 targets in different areas of southern Lebanon, which she said were affiliated with Hezbollah.

Wawiya explained that the raids carried out today, Saturday, targeted “monitoring sites, infrastructure, and a warehouse of combat weapons” belonging to Hezbollah, noting that these sites “from which the party’s members set off to implement plans against the Israeli army forces and Israel.”

She added that yesterday, Friday, the Israeli army also targeted “additional military infrastructure” of Hezbollah in the Tire area in southern Lebanon.

She noted that “during the last twenty-four hours, Hezbollah launched hostile air means, mortar shells, and explosive drones,” which she said fell near the areas where Israeli forces are deployed in southern Lebanon.

She noted that “the alarms were not activated, in accordance with established policy.”
