Lebanese sport lived a catastrophic night, after an attack on the referee of the youth match, Saida and Al -Siddiqa in the Lebanon Handball Championship, and the fight moved to the stands

It was not written for the youth match, Saida, and his guest friendship, to end naturally, after the first fans stormed the field and assaulted the referee, in the meeting that was held between them in the hall of President Nabih Berri, Saida neighborhood, in the semi -finals of the Lebanon Handball Championship.

About 14 seconds before the end of the first half, a group of fans of Saida neighborhood stormed the stadium to attack the referee Bassam Farasha, in protest against the latter’s decision to remove the Egyptian first player Omar Kalla, two minutes because of his attempt to block the game.

And chaos occurred on the field and then moved to the stands, until it reached the point of throwing water packages on the union’s media to prevent him from continuing to photograph what is happening.

The Federation is scheduled to make a series of harsh decisions in its next session, especially since it is not the first time that such matters have occurred on the same stadium.
