Xiaomi officially announced its new tablet computer, which has specifications that make it among the strongest competitors in the Android smart computer markets.

The new Redmi Pad 2 9.7 computer has a body made of aluminum and glass that is resistant to shocks and scratches. Its dimensions are (226.5/147.9/7.4) mm, and its weight is 406 g.

Its IPS LCD screen is 9.7 inches, its display resolution is (1280/2048) pixels, its frequency is 120 Hz, its brightness is 600 nits, and its density is approximately 268 pixels/inch.

The device runs on the “Android-16” system with HyperOS 3 interfaces, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64/128 GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSDXC chips.

Its primary camera came with a resolution of 8 megapixels, capable of documenting 1080p videos at a rate of 30 frames per second, and its front camera came with a resolution of 5 megapixels.

The device also has high-performance speakers, a USB Type-C port, and a 7600 mAh battery that works with a 15-watt charger. It will be offered in two versions, priced at $179 and $211. (Russia Today)
