The Israeli “Channel 13” quoted the Israeli army as estimating that Hezbollah possesses approximately 10,000 missiles. The channel indicated that this huge stockpile enables the party to continue launching between 100 and 200 missiles daily for several weeks.
In a related context, Channel 13 reported through Israeli media that intelligence information lacks perfection in all files, explaining that “in Lebanon there are targets we know and others we do not know.”
These Israeli assessments come in the midst of escalating tensions on the Lebanese front, where bombing exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah continue on an almost daily basis.
Over the past few hours, the Israeli army has escalated the pace of its air strikes on what it describes as “military infrastructure,” launching sites, and firing systems, with the aim of limiting Hezbollah’s missile capabilities.
For its part, Hezbollah continues to announce the implementation of targeting operations against Israeli military sites in the northern region, using missile strikes and drones, as part of what it describes as “a response to the attacks.”
These data are consistent with previous Israeli assessments indicating preparation for a long-term confrontation, amid talk of a mutual war of attrition and efforts to redefine the rules of engagement.
