In one of the harshest nights since the start of this escalation, Lebanon lived long hours filled with fear and anticipation, while the Israeli raids intensified and affected the areas of the south, the Bekaa, and the Mountains, all the way to the southern suburbs of Beirut. These raids coincided with direct warnings and ambiguous communications that sowed confusion among the population. As these attacks continued until the morning hours, the scene seemed to herald a greater escalation, especially with the increase in intensity of the strikes and the expansion of their geographical scope.

A night of fire from the south to the suburb…an unprecedented escalation

A series of violent raids rocked various areas in the southern suburb of Beirut, amounting to seven raids. One of the raids targeted the Bir al-Abd area near the “Sayyeda Zeinab Complex” on the main street, and the echoes of the explosion reached many neighborhoods of the capital, sparking a state of panic among the residents. This was preceded by a warning from the Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, to the residents of the southern suburb, specifically in the neighborhoods of “Haret Hreik, Al-Ghobeiry, Al-Laylaki, Al-Hadath, Burj Al-Barajneh, Tahouitet Al-Ghadir and Al-Shiyah,” asking them to evacuate these areas.

Information reported that a second raid targeted the Burj Al-Barajneh area on Al-Mansheya Street, while a third raid targeted the Al-Ruwais area near the “Sayyid Al-Shuhada Complex,” which led to great tension in the area.

A fourth raid also targeted the road linking Al-Laylaki and Al-Marijeh, specifically the path leading from Al-Amana station to Al-Laylaki roundabout, amid a continuous flight of warplanes in the sky of the capital, Beirut.

In the south, after these raids, an urgent Israeli warning was issued to the residents of Lebanon, specifically in the following villages: “Barglieh, Rashidiya,” calling for the immediate evacuation of homes.

The scope of targeting expanded to include a number of villages and towns, as a raid targeted the town of Aitit and hit a house, leading to the death of one person and the injury of four others. The raids on the town of Srifa were renewed, and the initial toll resulted in three martyrs and one wounded, while rubble removal operations are still ongoing.

The raids also targeted the towns of Kafra, Tirdaba, and Sarbin, and Tirdba witnessed three successive raids: the first resulted in no casualties, the second resulted in the injury of three people, while the third resulted in the death of two people and the injury of others, bringing the town’s toll to two martyrs and three wounded.

The escalation extended to Nabatieh district, where a raid targeted the town of Harouf, while an additional raid was recorded between the towns of Zabdin and Shokin, opposite Bir El-Messi, which led to the death of a martyr.

Bchamoun in the circle of fire… targeting a residential apartment

In Mount Lebanon Governorate, a raid at dawn on Tuesday targeted a residential apartment in the Bchamoun area – Aley district, resulting in the death of two citizens and the wounding of five, according to a statement issued by the “Health Emergency Operations Center” of the Ministry of Public Health, amid a widespread state of alert by ambulance and civil defense teams.

A wave of warnings south… calls for evacuation towards northern Zahrani

In parallel with the raids, the Israeli army issued an urgent warning this morning to residents of areas in southern Lebanon, including Maashouk, Tyre, and Burj al-Shamali, calling for them to immediately evacuate homes and head north of the Zahrani River.

“Suspicious” communications confuse the Lebanese… Investigations to reveal the source

At the same time, a state of anxiety prevailed last night due to calls received from citizens in several Bekaa areas, including Saadnayel, Bednayel, and Nasiriyah, asking them to evacuate their homes, in a move believed to be aimed at creating panic and confusion.

In this context, the relevant agencies began their investigations to confirm the authenticity of these communications and determine their source, with calls on citizens to be cautious.

A statement was also issued by the residents of one of the buildings, in which they explained that they had received a call from an international number asking to evacuate the building, before the family contacted the competent authorities, who believed that the call was incorrect, and advised a precautionary evacuation in the interest of public safety.

The residents confirmed that they are a civilian family and do not belong to any party, calling for not to be drawn into rumors and to act responsibly in light of these delicate circumstances.

Open escalation… fears are escalating

Between the continuous raids and increasing warnings, the Lebanese spent a difficult night under the weight of the Israeli escalation, amid growing fears of the expansion of the scope of the confrontation in the coming hours and days.
