In a series of successive statements, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out 29 military operations from Sunday evening until Monday afternoon, indicating that they were “in defense of Lebanon and its people.” These operations targeted Israeli army sites, barracks and concentrations, in addition to settlements in northern Israel.
According to the data issued, the operations began at 17:30 on Sunday evening, targeting the Zarit Barracks with a barrage of missiles. At dawn on Monday, the Al-Manara settlement was targeted at 02:00, followed by the Metulla site at 02:50, then artillery sites near the Al-Marj site opposite the town of Markaba at 04:30, in addition to the Metulla site being targeted again at the same time.

At 11:00, it was announced that two gatherings of Israeli soldiers had been targeted in Tel Abu Madi in the town of Al-Dhahira, and in the vicinity of the Naqoura municipality building. This was followed at 11:20 by targeting the Doviv barracks opposite the town of Yaron with a barrage of missiles and a swarm of assault drones, in addition to targeting the Avivim barracks opposite Maroun Al-Ras with a swarm of drones.
Between 12:20 and 12:30, a gathering of soldiers near the town square of Markaba was targeted three times in a row, with artillery shells and a barrage of missiles. At 1:00 p.m., the Metulla site was targeted for the third time, along with a gathering in the Taiba project.
The strikes intensified at 1:15 p.m., and included targeting the Kiryat Shmona settlement, the Hadabat al-Ajl site north of Kvarioval, a gathering near the Naqoura School, Baidar al-Faqaani in Taibe, the Miskaf General site, the Beit Hillal barracks, and the Tarterra Heights in Maroun al-Ras. The Doviev Barracks was also retargeted at 13:20.
At 1:30 p.m., the party announced that it had targeted the Mount Neria base of the Meron Observation Base and the Department of Air Operations in northern Israel with a barrage of missiles, coinciding with the targeting of Kiryat Shmona for the second time, before the strikes on the same settlement were repeated at 14:00 and 14:20, bringing the number of times it was targeted to four times in less than two hours.
The party also announced the implementation of an additional operation on Monday afternoon, 03/23/2026, targeting “a gathering of Israeli enemy army vehicles and soldiers in Khallet al-Aqsa in the town of Taybeh with a missile launcher,” at 14:30, as part of what it described as “defending Lebanon and its people.”
These operations reflect a clear escalation in the pace of confrontation, with a diversity of targets between border military sites, observation bases, barracks, and settlements, and the use of multiple means, including missiles, artillery shells, and assault drones.
This comes in the context of an ongoing escalation on the southern front, amid mutual military alert and international warnings of the expansion of the scope of the confrontation.
