Adraee explained that the Chief of Staff conducted an assessment of the situation today, Wednesday, in light of the various developments related to Operation “Lion’s Roar,” with the participation of a number of military commanders.
He added that the directive included strengthening the leadership of the northern region and transferring the Golani Brigade’s combat team from the southern region to the north, indicating that a decision will be taken later regarding strengthening the command with additional forces according to an assessment of the situation.
He stressed that the Israeli army will continue to act forcefully against Hezbollah, which he said “has joined the battle and is working under the patronage of the Iranian regime,” adding that it will not allow the citizens of Israel to be harmed.
