The Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health announced in a statement the martyrdom of a citizen as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a motorcycle in the Al-Awza’i area.
Earlier, an Israeli drone carried out a raid targeting a motorcycle in Al-Awza’i, located on the outskirts of the southern suburb of Beirut, causing damage to the targeting site. Immediately, ambulance teams headed to the location amid a state of security alert and intense drone flights in the sky of the capital and its suburbs.
This targeting is considered a prominent field development, given its location in an area close to the southern suburbs of Beirut, in light of the noticeable expansion in the scope of Israeli targeting, which during the past hours included multiple areas in southern Lebanon.
This escalation comes within the framework of the continuation of military operations on the Lebanese-Israeli front, where Israeli aircraft intensified their raids on towns and villages in the south, in addition to separate attacks in other areas, which led to martyrs and wounded and the displacement of numbers of residents from some of the affected areas, amid increasing warnings of the possibility of expanding the scope of the confrontations.
