In new security news, a drone crashed in the town of Al-Bireh in the Akkar region, specifically in the Al-Barda district, in an empty area. This accident did not result in any human casualties.
The National News Agency reported that the incident occurred in an uninhabited place, and the Lebanese Army was notified, which sent a patrol to the site to examine the location of the drone’s fall and take the necessary measures.
This incident comes in the context of a noticeable military escalation taking place in Lebanese territory, with the continuation of Israeli raids on various areas in the south and the Bekaa.
The last hours witnessed a series of Israeli air attacks that targeted towns in the Nabatieh district, including the town of Mifdoun, in addition to targeting the Beit Yahoun-Tebnine road by an Israeli drone.
The raids also reached the Bekaa region, where the city of Hermel and the town of Younine were targeted, at a time when Israeli warplanes were flying heavily in the skies of Baalbek.
In the southern suburb of Beirut, Israeli aircraft carried out air attacks targeting several sites, including centers belonging to the “Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation,” while the “Israeli Army” announced that it had carried out a series of raids on what it called “infrastructure linked to Hezbollah.”
This development coincided with previous Israeli warnings to residents of the areas south of the Litani River, urging them to evacuate their homes, while military operations continued along the southern border.
