Three helicopters flew at medium altitude over the eastern chain, on frequent flights between the towns of Ham and Arsal, heading from south to north and then back.

This sudden flight of helicopters raised doubts and anxiety in the region, raising the level of preparedness in the villages spread along the eastern chain.

This flight comes in the context of the successive security developments witnessed by the Lebanese front in recent days, coinciding with the escalation of military operations and Israeli raids targeting multiple areas in the south and the Bekaa.

In this regard, the “Israeli Army” announced on Saturday that special forces carried out an incursion into Lebanese territory in an attempt to find any information related to the missing Israeli soldier, “Ron Arad.” A spokesman for the “Israeli Army” confirmed that the operation targeted a specific location inside Lebanon for the purpose of searching for any data related to the case, explaining that the participating forces did not suffer any injuries during the implementation of the operation.

The “Israeli Army” indicated that the search operation did not result in finding any evidence or information leading to “Arad,” stressing that it will continue to work “tirelessly, day and night, and out of a deep commitment to returning all of its dead and missing sons to Israel.”

These events are accompanied by a noticeable military escalation on the Lebanese front, as Israeli raids continue to target a number of villages and towns, in parallel with the launching of missiles from Lebanese territory towards northern Israel, which increases the security tension in the region.
