Media reported news of an assassination targeting a number of leaders of the “Quds Force” of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Beirut, specifically in a hotel in the Raouche area.

According to what was reported by Al-Hadath TV, the operation led to the killing of Hussein Ahmadlou, who was said to be the head of the “Zionist file” in the Lebanon branch of the “Quds Force.”

The sources also mentioned the assassination of Ahmed Rasouli, the official in charge of the intelligence department of the “Quds Force” in Lebanon, in addition to Ali Baazar, who holds the position of intelligence official in the Lebanon branch of the Corps, in a targeting incident that occurred inside a hotel in the Raouche area in Beirut.

The information also indicated that Majed Hosseini, the financial official of the Lebanese branch of the “Quds Force,” was killed in the same operation.

There has been no official confirmation yet from the Iranian side or the Lebanese authorities regarding the details or circumstances of the operation, while efforts continue to determine the circumstances of the attack and the party responsible for it.

These events come in the midst of a major military escalation taking place in the region, with the continuing war between Iran on the one hand and the United States and Israel on the other hand, coinciding with the escalation of clashes on the Lebanese front. In recent days, Beirut has witnessed attacks and targeting operations linked to the regional conflict, raising concern about the expansion of the scope of security and military operations inside Lebanon.
