Social media users circulated an audio recording of a phone call received to the Civil Defense Center in Ghobeiry after the Israeli raid that targeted a building in the area. During the call, the caller identified himself as “Captain Akram” and warned of the possibility of another strike near the targeted location.

According to the available details, the caller, a member of the Civil Defense, reported the presence of large crowds of civilians in the Al-Shiyah area near the damaged building, specifically near the Sharia court, and urged their urgent removal from the area.

The caller said during the call: “There is a large gathering of people near the building that was targeted. It is very necessary to keep them away from the area because it may be targeted again.”

For his part, the civil defense member who received the call explained that evacuating such a large number of individuals requires transportation, indicating that they need a bus to transport them from the site. However, the caller stressed the need to move away from the place at least 300 meters immediately.

When the officer asked for a short period of time to inform those present and organize the evacuation process, the caller replied that the time available was not sufficient at all.

During the call, a municipal employee asked the caller about how to alert people in light of the lack of time. He answered, asking him to go immediately to the place and warn them directly. However, the employee expressed his fear of going to the site in anticipation of a new strike, considering that this might put him in danger. The caller concluded his speech with the phrase: “Hurry up.”
