As midnight approached, the pace of escalation renewed, reaching the southern suburbs of Beirut, where Israeli aircraft launched a new raid on the area, in light of the escalation of military operations and warnings that preceded this targeting during the past few hours.

The southern suburb of Beirut witnessed new bombing on Wednesday night, when Israeli warships bombed a building in the area without warning.

Field sources reported that the naval bombardment directly hit the building, leading to a massive explosion that resonated in various areas of the capital and its suburbs, amid rising flames and smoke from the targeting site.

This bombing comes after a “warning” published by the “Israeli Army Spokesman” on the “X” platform, calling on residents in “the specific building and its neighboring buildings” to evacuate immediately and move away for a distance of no less than “300 meters.”

This development shows a recurring pattern over recent nights, as Israeli warnings are preceded by air strikes targeting sites in the southern suburb or surrounding areas shortly after these warnings are issued.

Earlier today, the southern suburb witnessed a noticeable escalation, with the continued intense flight of warplanes and drones in the skies of Beirut and its suburbs.

In the context of the same escalation, an “Israeli raid” earlier targeted “two cars on the road to Rafik Hariri International Airport,” which led to “the martyrdom of 3 people,” and left severe damage to the site, amid a state of security alert in the region.

Another raid targeted a residential apartment in the Choueifat area, as part of a series of attacks that targeted the vicinity of Beirut and the southern suburbs during the past hours.
