The Iranian Fars News Agency, citing government sources, reported that Tehran is putting the final touches on an integrated plan to deal with state affairs, in anticipation of a war scenario that may be prolonged, which reflects the Islamic Republic’s readiness to confront any possible military escalation.
The agency said in a statement: “The government has begun implementing a comprehensive plan to manage the country in light of a long-term war.”
The agency explained that the plan aims to “provide the population with basic goods, secure the state’s productive capabilities with the necessary means, in addition to making the most of the infrastructure potential in Iran.”
This announcement coincides with the United States and Israel launching, since February 28, a large-scale military operation against Iran, which led to the killing of the Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and dozens of leaders, amid an escalation in the exchange of missile shelling and attacks carried out by drones, and an increase in tension in various areas of the region.
