Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that the air attacks on the Iranian capital do not weaken Iran’s ability to lead military operations. He pointed out that Iran invested two decades in analyzing the failures of American forces in the East and West regions, and used these lessons in formulating its defense strategies.

In his statements in English, Araqchi said: “We spent two decades studying the defeats of the American army in our east and west, and we integrated the lessons accordingly. The bombing of our capital does not affect our ability to fight the war. Decentralized Mosaic Defense allows us to determine when and how the war will end.”

He added that Iran’s defense strategy is based on a decentralized system that ensures the state’s ability to respond and plan in isolation from any specific attacks, while preserving its military and political options at any stage of the conflict.

Araqchi’s statements come in light of the escalation in regional military tension following the American and Israeli strikes on Iran, which led to the “martyrdom” of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and a number of senior Iranian military leaders.
