In the town of Jiyeh, Hezbollah launched its electoral campaign under the slogan: “Your vote… in loyalty to them,” during a massive political gathering held in the Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Complex. Former Minister Dr. Mustafa Bayram participated in this meeting, in addition to a large number of active figures, scholars, and townspeople.
During this gathering, Bayram emphasized a set of basic principles, indicating that the highest goal is God Almighty, and that work in the public sphere must be based on values and faith. He also pointed out that the path to pride and dignity depends on steadfastness, patience, honesty, and insight, and on strengthening the position of the axis of truth in the minds of opponents.
He explained that circumstances may change between different parties, but there is no defeat as long as we adhere to the truth, especially when we are inspired by the example of Hussein bin Ali, Zainab bint Ali, and Al-Ansar, where duty is a priority over emotion, stressing not to back down from confronting falsehood in various arenas.
At the conclusion of his speech, Bayram stressed the necessity of participating in the elections, having an influential presence in the electoral arena, and working to increase the voting percentage because of its great influence, in the face of what he described as attempts by other parties to influence public opinion and distance people from the path of truth and dignity.
