A Yemeni military source escalated its warnings to Saudi Arabia, calling on citizens and employees to stay away from oil installations in the Kingdom, and calling on Aramco shareholders to withdraw their shares as soon as possible.
The source confirmed, in a statement he made today, Sunday, to the “Saba” agency in Sanaa, that the Saudi airspace has become “unsafe,” excluding the airspace of Mecca and Medina, stressing by saying: “To avoid losses, we advise shareholders in Aramco to withdraw their shares before it is too late.”
These developments come in the wake of the Yemeni Armed Forces’ announcement, last Wednesday, of targeting King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, with a ballistic missile, confirming that the attack hit its target precisely and directly.
This escalation puts oil installations and air traffic in direct danger, at a time when the Yemeni parties are seeking to expand the scope of pressure to include the investment and economic sector of Aramco.
