Sky Lounge Services, as the private entity responsible for investing, developing and equipping President Rene Mouawad Airport in Klayaat, confirmed that recruitment processes at the airport are carried out according to clear and transparent professional standards, independent of any political considerations or interference, stressing that competence, qualifications and professional experience form the basis for selecting employees.
The company explained, in a statement responding to what was being circulated regarding the recruitment mechanism, that the selection of cadres is based on a specific operational structure, job descriptions, and special requirements for each position, ensuring that the operational, technical, and security needs of the airport are met in accordance with the approved standards.
In the same context, the company pointed out that priority is given to qualified candidates from the Akkar and North regions, based on its keenness to support local economic development and provide job opportunities for the people of the region, while reiterating that competence remains the basic and decisive criterion in all employment decisions.
On the other hand, Sky Lounge Services renewed its commitment to move forward with the necessary preparations for the launch of the first operational phase of the airport on the fifteenth of next November. It considered the project strategic and constitutes a new economic gateway to the North and Lebanon, expecting it to gradually contribute to creating direct and indirect job opportunities in multiple sectors in parallel with the expansion of operational operations.
