Google unleashes Gemini's revolutionary capabilities that take away routine tasks

Google announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence agent within its smart assistant, “Gemini,” designed to perform multiple tasks in the background across various applications and devices through a unified interface.

The announcement came during the “Gemini at Work” event held on Thursday, where the company explained that the new agent will be available within the “Gemini Enterprise” application dedicated to the business and corporate sector, allowing users to delegate tasks directly to him.

The new system is distinguished by its broad integration with the “Google Workspace” application system (including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar), as well as support for external platforms such as “Slack” and “Microsoft 365,” and the ability to use it on smartphones, computers, and web browsers.

Thanks to cloud computing credentials, Gemini has the ability to maintain workflow across different devices, allowing users to start tasks on one device and complete them seamlessly on another without having to re-enter data.

The new agent’s advanced capabilities include the use of specialized sub-agents and acting as a digital “co-worker” with an independent identity and private email address, making it easy to integrate into corporate work environments. The system also automatically chooses the most appropriate artificial intelligence model for each task based on its requirements without human intervention.

So far, the availability of the new agent is limited to enterprise customers within a special preview program, and Google has not set a date for its launch to the public.

It is noteworthy that Google had launched last May the “Gemini Spark” agent directed at individual users, which enables subscribers to complete tasks via the “Workspace” applications and the web, but through a separate interface within the “Gemini” application.
