Ronaldo tears the net in his first appearance after the Jesus-Portugal crisis

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nasr Club’s top scorer, scored his team’s first goal in the match against Al-Diriyah Club in the eighth round of the Saudi Roshan League. This comes as the player’s first appearance in his team’s jersey after his controversial departure from the Portugal national team camp.

Ronaldo was included in the Portuguese national team’s roster to play four matches during the last international break, but he left the camp following the Norway match, in which he did not participate, specifically after the press conference of coach Jorge Jesus, which preceded the match against Denmark.

Ronaldo’s departure from the camp led to a widespread crisis, which prompted the President of the Portuguese Football Federation to make intense efforts to bring the views of the two parties closer together, before the player issued an official statement in which he explained the reasons that prompted his departure.

It is noteworthy that Ronaldo’s last match for the Portuguese national team was against Wales on September 24, and today he scored his first goal with his club since that crisis.
