Security forces in Zahle thwart a car theft and recover it in record time

In a quick security achievement, the security services in the Bekaa Governorate succeeded in recovering a stolen car and handing it over to its owner in less than 24 hours after the crime occurred.

In detail, the correspondent of the “Lebanon Debate” website indicated that joint coordination between the security services resulted in the recovery of a black Honda CR-V jeep, manufactured in 2001 and bearing the license plate number 219681/G, and belonging to the citizen Rima Abdel Masih.

The car was stolen around the first hour after midnight from in front of its owners’ house in the vicinity of the “Stargate” complex in the city of Zahle. Surveillance cameras around the place showed the details of the incident, as they spotted a white “Rapid” car roaming the neighborhoods of the area, before the stolen car appeared driving behind it immediately after the theft was completed.

Immediately upon being informed of the incident, the security services began investigations and diligent follow-up, to be able to recover the car and complete the necessary procedures to deliver it to its proper owner shortly before.
