The head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, officially opened the “Batrouniyat Academy” in the youth hostel in the city of Batroun, as a result of joint cooperation with the “Ed Tech Plus” Institute. The new project focuses on developing the mental skills of young people and employing modern technologies, especially artificial intelligence tools.
In his speech during the opening ceremony, Bassil indicated that this step represents a crossing into a “new world” whose prominent title is artificial intelligence, explaining that the added value of the project lies in its ability to combine the development of mental capabilities and the benefit of AI technologies.
Bassil pointed out that participants in the academy will be trained to integrate “natural human intelligence with artificial intelligence,” in a step aimed at keeping pace with accelerating technological changes and qualifying human staff to possess the modern skills associated with them.
