Amazon enters the AI market with an open source decision-making model

Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing arm of the Amazon Group, has launched a new open source artificial intelligence model dedicated to decision-making, inspired by the “GIF” model of the “TypeSave” company. This launch comes at a time when artificial intelligence developers are increasingly seeking intelligent systems that are compatible with computer automation tasks compared to large, complex language models.

According to the “TechCrunch” website, which specializes in technology, Amazon’s move coincided with the unveiling of a similar product by the artificial intelligence application company “Open AI.” It was created by Amazon engineer Mark Brooker, after seeing Jeff’s model and wanting to build his own version.

The new model is called “Standards Decider 2B,” and it provides a quick and low-cost tool for comparing pre-defined options, as well as providing an indicator that determines the level of confidence in the proposed decision.

The model has the advantages of small size and being fully open to users, which enables them to run it directly on their personal devices without the need for external servers, and allows it to be used in applications produced by other companies outside the Amazon system.
