A sudden inferno strikes the south: violent raids, loud explosions, and an unexploded missile that frighten the population.

Since dawn on Saturday, southern Lebanon has witnessed a series of large-scale Israeli attacks, including air strikes, artillery shelling, and sweeping operations with machine guns, including huge explosions that resonated in various areas.

The correspondent of the “Lebanon Debate” website reported that two huge explosions rocked the town of Baraashit and their echoes were heard throughout large parts of the south, coinciding with another explosion on the outskirts of the town of Beit Yahoun, followed by an additional explosion inside the town itself.

In the field context, heavy artillery bombardment targeted the towns of Nabatiyeh Al-Fawqa, the outskirts of Haris, and Hadatha, in addition to the valleys of Zebqin, Al-Hajir, and Al-Saluki in the direction of Toulin and Al-Ghandouriya, before the targeting of Wadi Al-Saluki in the direction of Toulin was renewed.

The attacks coincided with intensive sweeping operations with machine guns targeting the surroundings of the towns of Hadatha, Ayta al-Jabal, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, and Khiam.

In terms of air escalation, Israeli warplanes launched raids targeting Nabatieh al-Fawqa, the vicinity of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, and Mifdoun. The correspondent monitored a low flight of military aircraft, followed by the targeting of the town of Qantara with an unexploded missile.

To date, there have been no official reports indicating human casualties or providing precise details about the extent of material damage.
