Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted at a decisive response to any potential attack targeting Israel, expressing the presence of indicators indicating the possibility of the country being exposed to attacks, without revealing the nature of these indicators or the parties behind them.
Netanyahu’s statements came during an inspection tour he conducted at the Tel Nof air base, where a statement issued by his office conveyed his warning, saying: “Do not mess with us, not now or at any time, for our long arm will reach you everywhere and at any time.”
The Prime Minister explained that Israeli forces are continuing their military operations on multiple fronts, most notably the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. He claimed that the Israeli army killed more than 100 people in the Gaza Strip in recent weeks, announcing at the same time the killing of a commander in one of the Hamas brigades in the northern Gaza Strip, on Monday night.
In a related context, Netanyahu indicated that he is facing political pressure that is pushing him to retreat from what he described as “military achievements,” stressing his adherence to his position and his categorical rejection of any retreat.
These threats coincide with the approaching date of the Israeli elections scheduled for the twenty-seventh of October, amid the absence of additional details from his office regarding the nature of the security threats he warned against.
