Economical price and strong specifications.. Samsung begins promoting the Galaxy A18 phone

The South Korean company Samsung has begun promoting its new phone, the Galaxy A18, which it is preparing to launch at a price that competes with the best Android phones in the mid-range category, aiming to combine advanced specifications with economical cost.

The new device comes with a water and dust resistant body according to the IP64 standard, with dimensions of (164.4/77.9/7.7) mm, and a weight of up to 196 grams. It is also equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, a display resolution of (1080/2340) pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a display density of about 385 pixels/inch, supported by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer that is resistant to shocks and scratches.

In terms of performance, the “Galaxy A18” phone runs on the “Android-17” operating system, supported by an Exynos 1610 processor, and a random access memory (RAM) with a capacity of 4 GB. The company provides the phone with multiple options for internal storage capacity, including 64, 128, and 256 GB, with the possibility of expansion via microSDXC external memory chips.

Samsung provided the phone with a three-lens rear imaging system with a resolution of (50+5+2) megapixels, which includes a lens for ultra-wide photography and another for close-up photography (macro), in addition to a 13-megapixel front camera.

The device also supports two SIM ports, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, an NFC electronic payment chip, a fingerprint scanner, and satellite positioning systems, in addition to a 5000 mAh battery that is compatible with a 25-watt fast charger.
