Leeds United achieved a major victory over its guest, Newcastle United, 4-1, on Monday, in the fourth round of the English Premier League.

Leeds raised its score to 8 points in third place, 4 points behind Manchester City, who is in second place, and with the same difference from Arsenal, the defending champion and top of the standings.

On the other hand, Newcastle’s balance froze at 5 points in twelfth place.

Leeds opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, after Newcastle’s Lewis Miley accidentally scored into his own net, before Jayden Bogle added the second goal just two minutes later.

In the first minute of stoppage time in the first half, Dominic Calvert-Lewin increased the hosts’ lead with the third goal.

Noah Okafor added the fourth goal in the 59th minute, allowing Leeds to settle the confrontation early.

Bazumana Toure scored Newcastle’s only goal in the last minute of regular time, so the match ended with a 4-1 win for Leeds.
