Honor has set September 28, 2026 as the date for holding its official conference in China, dedicated to unveiling its flagship Magic 9 series of phones, in addition to launching its new MagicPad 4 12.1 tablet computer, aimed at enhancing productivity and business.

The new tablet computer comes with a 12.1-inch screen, offering a size more suitable for transportation compared to the previous version with a 12.3-inch screen that the company introduced earlier this year.

Despite rumors that the screen panel will be of the LCD type instead of OLED to reduce cost, the device maintains a high refresh rate of 165 Hz to ensure a fast response and an ultra-smooth viewing experience.

The MagicPad 4 12.1 relies on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor for the upper-midrange category, supported by up to 12 GB of random access memory and an internal storage capacity of 256 GB. It is expected that this balance between the processor and the LCD panel will contribute to offering the device at an economical and more competitive price compared to the larger model.

Despite reducing the overall dimensions of the device, the company maintained the huge battery capacity of 10,100 mAh, which is the same capacity as the 12.3-inch model.

The work system is completed with support for the light pen and compatibility with PC-level applications. This enhances the device’s capabilities in the fields of productivity and content creation. (Erm News)
