Technical reports revealed new details regarding the means of unlocking the Apple foldable phone “iPhone Duo”, which is expected to come without facial recognition technology “Face ID”.









According to the “Unlimit-Tech” website, Apple will rely on the “Touch ID” fingerprint integrated into the side button of the phone, but it will not be the only way to unlock the device.

Users will also be able to automatically unlock the phone via the Apple Watch paired with it, once they wear it, without the need to touch the screen or press any button.

This feature is based on technologies previously used by Apple in its devices, as it allows the watch to be used to verify the user’s identity and unlock faster.

According to circulated information, pre-orders for the phone are scheduled to open on Friday, October 16, and will be launched on the market on Friday, October 23.
