Salam congratulates Al -Anani on his election as General Director of UNESCO

Prime Minister Dr. Nawwaf Salam made a phone call to Dr. Khaled Al -Anani, congratulating him on his election as Director General of UNESCO.

He also congratulated the Arab Republic of Egypt on this due achievement, especially as it is the first Arab to hold this high position. “

President Salam wished Dr. Al -Anani, “Al -Tawfiq in his duties at the head of the organization,” stressing that “Lebanon’s keenness to continue close cooperation with UNESCO in the fields of culture, education and development, whether through the government from Beirut or through the permanent Lebanese mission to the organization in Paris.” (National Agency)
