The Mate XT 2 instead relies on a G-shaped internal folding mechanism similar to the Galaxy Z TriFold design, so that both outer parts fold over the middle part of the device, ensuring that the large flexible screen is completely protected within the structure when closed.
Huawei added a separate external cover screen for daily use as a traditional phone, equipped with a “Pill-shaped” upper opening that includes the front cameras and advanced sensors that are likely dedicated to facial recognition.
The official images also show a rear camera unit with an octagonal design surrounded by a prominent metal frame, along with the Huawei and Ultimate Design logos aligned vertically. The company showed off the phone in a dark purple color with symmetrical metal touches.
Although Huawei has been reticent to reveal detailed technical specifications so far, the leaks indicate that the device will be equipped with a newer Kirin processor, a battery with a capacity of approximately 6,000 mAh, and upgrades to the rear camera system. (Erm News)
