The company presented the watch as a new generation of its blood pressure monitoring devices, before its expected official launch on September 2 during a special Huawei event in Munich.
The watch comes as an extension of the “HUAWEI WATCH D2”, which the company introduced in 2024 and provided the ability to monitor blood pressure 24 hours a day, while Huawei seeks, through the new generation, to develop technologies for monitoring health indicators using wearable devices.
The company began working on health and fitness monitoring technologies more than a decade ago, before gradually expanding to measuring heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and electrocardiograms, all the way to measuring blood pressure from the wrist.
Huawei is expected to reveal the full specifications and new features of the watch on September 2, making the WATCH D3 one of its most prominent health devices expected in the coming days.
