Rasamny announced, in a radio interview, that the first plane will take off from Qlayaat Airport early next October, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to the date he had previously promised.
He pointed out that the number of travelers decreased by 11.5% compared to last August, considering that the decrease is slight and linked to the continuation of the state of war.
He revealed that the vacancy rate in the ministry exceeds 86%, and that it needs 50 engineers, but employment is not currently available and salaries are insufficient, which prompts it to request support from donors.
He also announced the preparation of a book of conditions for entrusting the operation of airports to private companies, in exchange for their commitment to invest in their maintenance and development.
